A stadium in Ghana to watch the local games

In Ghana, you can enjoy an incredible experience without straining your budget. We’ve compiled 14 budget-friendly options that cater to your budget, whether you are on a strict budget during your trip or you want to maximize your adventures.

Get a pedicure at Lynette’s

If you love nail care, you should definitely visit Lynette’s. Located in East Legon, this beautiful pink spa has such an aesthetically pleasing space, perfect for the gram. All their products are vegan and cruelty free. They are open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm. However, this is by appointment only so make sure to book ahead of time. Their services include manicures, pedicures, treatments, deep cleaning, gel coatings and enhancements. Check out their Instagram page or their website to book an appointment.

Fish pedicure at Adinkra Pedicure Lounge

Located in Madina, you can get a fish pedicure spa and have softer and cleaner feet. Once you enter, your feet are washed to ensure there are no cuts. After, you place your feet into the fish tank and they eat away the dead skin on your feet. It costs about 200 cedis ($16) per person and you should be done in 45 minutes.

Do Yoga with puppies

Yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. You can book a class with Paws R Us at California Fitness for 250 GHS. While the instructor is taking the class, the puppies are free to do what they do best; be cute, cuddle and play with you while taking your yoga class. The best part is you can buy a puppy for about 1,800 GHS at the end of the class, if you want. Now, that is one way to get motivated to do yoga several times a week.

Watch an outdoor movie

Head to the Movenpick Hotel to have an outdoor movie experience on Saturdays. It is about 250 ($20) GHS for 2 people. Depending on the package you choose, you will be able to get different snacks to munch on during the movie. Reservations have to be made so make sure to follow them on their socials so you will know when there is a movie that will be showing and follow the booking instructions.

Paint-a-pot

To have this experience, head on to Bella Afrik where they host Wine and Art Studio to paint a pot. This fun activity is perfect for people who are creative, want to have fun or simply want to experience painting something. Prices range from 150 GHS to 250 GHS, depending on the package you choose, it includes the painting, a drink, bruschetta and a plant to take home in the pot you painted.

Battle it out with Go-Kart

One of the activities you can do in Accra is go-karting. You can go to A1 Raceway, an outdoor go-kart track with fast karts and you can go there with friends for an epic go-kart battle to see who is the best at go-karting.
